IceToolz water-based degreaser concentrated 400ml

IceToolz concentrated water-based degreaser contains no toxic ingredients and is non-corrosive. The concentrated degreaser can be used in IceToolz's patented chain cleaner with 20 brushes (C115) or with 28 brushes (C111). A mixing ratio of 10:1 is recommended for the IceToolz chain cleaner. The IceToolz article number of this concentrated degreaser is C133.

Chain maintenance is important for a smooth working shift system. IceToolz offers a range of maintenance products. The patented chain cleaners (C111 and C115) are examples of this. This chain cleaner is unique because of the intensive way in which the chain is cleaned. The method is fairly similar to other chain cleaners: Fill chain cleaner with this environmentally friendly, water-based degreaser up to the first line on the chain cleaner, then top up with water to the second line on the chain cleaner (ratio 10:1). Then place the chain cleaner with the rubber band around the rear fork and the chain can rotate. Run the entire length of the chain through the chain cleaner at least twice.
  Of course, the IceToolz concentrated degreaser can also be used in other ways: use it purely on a cloth for stubborn stains or in a spray bottle.

Chain maintenance with IceToolz chain cleaner

After cleaning with the IceToolz chain cleaner, it is important to lubricate the chain properly. The IceToolz teflon oil (IceToolz article number C162) is eminently suitable for this. It is also important to clean the rest of the gears thoroughly, especially to make them free of sand and mud. Practical aids in this respect are the IceToolz brush set i (IceToolz item number C164) or the two-sided brush (IceToolz item number C121)
  Take the time and effort to get this right. Proper maintenance and lubrication of the chain saves on the purchase of chain and cassette.
