ceToolz thread tap set oversized for pedal axle
The IceToolz thread tap set for oversized pedal thread is to replace the old and damaged standard thread in the crank with an oversized thread after which the Helicoils® (IceToolz nr. E521H) can be inserted. The tap set consists of a well markedleft and right tap ( L = black, R = gold). The IceToolz article number of the tap set is 521T.

The thread tappers are equipped with 2 types of thread, the first cleans up the existing thread of the crank and then the real work begins. The oversized thread for the Helicoil® is tapped into the crank. Make sure that sufficient cutting fluid (C143) is used.
